Newton Scamander, born in 1897, developed a passion for magical creatures thanks to his mother's influence. After graduating from Hogwarts, he joined the Ministry of Magic and quickly rose through the ranks in the Beast Division due to his extensive knowledge of magical animals. He is known for his contributions to the creation of the Werewolf Register and the Ban on Experimental Breeding. Scamander's work with the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau led to the publication of his renowned book, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." He received the Order of Merlin, Second Class, in 1979 and now lives in Dorset with his wife and their pet Kneazles.
